Pendling Mountain

Arrival and Pendling Mountain Germany to Austria Meggenhofen Meggenhofen II

Catholic Museum Daimler Museum Daimler Restoration Rosenheim

Pendling Mountain, Austria.

Mini Journal with short narratives:

We were met at the Munich airport by Dirk and his close friend Gerhart, who owns a 1961 New Yorker and is quite proud of it, as it is a very nice restoration. Our luggage matched the car.

This is our arrival at Dirk and Gretel's in Rosenheim. Gerhart was kind enough to drive us from Munich to their home. Gerhart looked for two years for a rear taillight for his 1961 New Yorker. Anthony obtained one in the States and Gretel took it home to him. He worked very hard to have the car ready when we came so he could pick us up in it.

This is a view from the bottom of Pendling Mountain.

The start of our hiking adventure, does not seem too difficult at first.

A photograph as we were climbing up the mountain.

Another photograph higher up the mountain.

A view of the mount Kufstein. This is the mountain we climbed in 2005 during our last trip.

We are about 1/3 the way up.

This is where it became a little difficult. The rest of the hike was like this all the way up to the summit.

A view about 1/2 the way up Mount Pendling.

Almost to the top.

At the top area of mount Pendling.

We are getting ready to start back down the mountain.

A view from Pendling mountain Tyrol Austria . The small white speck to the left is actually one of two airplanes.

We were fortunate to come upon a road 1/2 the way back down.

Dirk and Gerhart with Gerhart's dog. The dog passed away a week later.

This picture looks like a postcard.
