Rosenheim Maria's Stein Underground Mine

King Ludwig Grossglockner Hungary & The Suba Lyuk Cave

The day before our trip to Glossglockner and Hungary.

Our departure from Rosenheim.

We stopped several times for photo opportunies before arriving ton top of the world.

Dinner was marvelous, what a great view.
The owner and his wife, are the third generation owners of the family owned restaurant and guest house. The restaurant is the highest in the world. They can only live on the mountain top from May to October; then they travel further down the mountain to their other home.
We made several stops as we made our descent; a museum and some ther scenic points for photographs.

While approaching the lower village of Heiligen blut (Holy Blood of Christ), Anthony mentioned the brakes and his hopes they did not overheat. A minute later Dirks exclaims " Oh I do not have any brakes". Gretel quickly pointed to a picnic spot to pull off for the brakes to cool down. Next to the picnic spot was an auto shop that Dirk decided to coast down to.

At one of the village shops I found Kinder socken for the completion of grandson Battisitas' German kinder outfit. (An outfit that I readily had put on him when we got back home).

Anthony also used his foldable cane for longer walks.
