Holger's trip from Rosenheim
Germany to various areas of Italy on a
Vespa.
|
I started on Tuesday morning 8.30,
to
Kitzbuhl, Fellberntauern, Lienz (Austria),
Dobbiaco (Italia), Kreuzberg pass 1636m, Passo Della Mauria
1295m, and Ponte Nelle Alpi. Later, I went on to Ponte
Nelle Alpi,
Conegliano then to Trevisio (3.00pm), there was a large
European Vespa meeting with over 6000 Vespas.

| On
the fist day I traveled 200 miles. It was great, very much
fun, live music, and shows with stuntman on Vespa`s. I
traveled with 500 Vespas to the Vino-Mountains to a very old
school for wine and proseco (with taste testing). |

Lots of fun along with making new
friends. On Monday morning I started to
Adria, then south to
Venezia,
Chioggia, Ravenna, and a stop in
Rimini, to build my little camp on a nice camping place
near the beach. |

In the morning I climbed San
Marino's hill, drank a coffee on the street where we all were
two years before. |

|
|
The way to
Firenze was very beautiful with unlimited curves and hills |

|
| Then on to to Pisa. |
|
| |
|
|
The weather did not look nice, so I
turned to Bologna, where the rain started. Later on to Modena,
Ostiglia, Mantova, and Peschiera on Lake de Garda, |

| I camped in Lazise near the Hotel
"Casablanca", with wine and Grappa, and Pizza. On Tuesday
morning I started back to the Alps on the street near the Lago
de Garda. |

I traveled the Old Brenner Road to
Innsbruck, Kufstein then to Rosenheim, 300 miles. |
 |
| |
|
|
In all 1240 miles of country roads,
it was a beautiful trip with the little Vespa, with no
problems. |
