The Big Picture
A Mountain And A Valley

The Big Picture

The Big Picture provides an overarching view of the development landscape, highlighting the areas marked in red as commercial zones that resulted from taxpayer-funded expansion efforts. However, it is important to note that these red areas do not reflect the initial thirty million dollar developmental expansion, which was limited to a finished project of only about 25 Acres, and even less than 15 Acres. In contrast, the blue-highlighted area represents the valley region, which encompasses properties owned by governmental and business partner entities, suggesting a complex interplay between public and private interests in regional development.

The access road in the image was for then resident Edward F. Aman, who spoke in favor of the rezoning request by Platinum Properties former Morgantown City Planner Rich Lane during a Bridgeport rezoning meeting of February 7, 2003.
