The Mid Swings...

The Mid Swing Southern Front

March 2014: A Politician & Commercial Realtor's Attention is Riveted to the Corpening Drive Retention Pond.

He insists, "The drainage has to be taken back the other way," despite being informed that there is no other retention pond on the same side of the road, toward Route 58. He reiterates his statement, emphasizing the necessity of redirecting the drainage. This issue was notably highlighted in  October 2011 by a European professional who examined the area, warning about the massive damages Bridgeport would face and criticizing me for my lack of awareness regarding the drainage concerns.

The Mid Swing Western Front

Platinum Properties, alongside Thrasher Engineering and the City of Bridgeport, successfully engineered and defended two twin buildings with exceptional structural and utility parameters. However, Platinum Properties failed to acknowledge their 2003 Oversight Issues with Thrasher Engineering and the City of Bridgeport. They also neglected to consider three "Locked-In" retaining Wall Estimates from 2004, a 2005 Geo-Technical Estimate. Their own 2005 "Locked-In" Engineering Draft Plan. Nor, their prior agreement from 2005 to rectify all existing problems.

Persistent Stubbornness

During March 2014, a politician and commercial realtor became fixated on the southerly located Corpening Drive retention pond, highlighting an ongoing drainage issue where a key proponent insisted, "The drainage has to be taken back the other way," despite the absence of alternative retention options towards Route 58. This concern echoed a warning from a European professional in 2011 about the impending damages facing Bridgeport due to drainage neglect.

On the western front, Platinum Properties and Thrasher Engineering engineered two twin buildings but failed to address critical oversight issues dating back to 2003, neglecting essential retention estimates and plans that contributed to onsite structural failures by 2006 and widespread city damage by 2007. Their stubborn adherence to flawed engineering led to a misguided extension of Thrasher's plans during the summer of 2007, resulting in logistical challenges for contractors amidst debris and mud.

The situation culminated in a dual drainage line shared between buildings 109 and 113, which could not adequately manage the weight and volume of retained water, likening their roof areas to a retention pond. By October 2014, inquiries into any prosecutions related to the 2007 incidents yielded no accountability, raising concerns about the lack of enforcement of regulations in what was touted as a state the caller had Internationally characterized by its strong rule of law.
